Go ahead, Make My Day

I can’t tell you all how much your emails/reviews/comments mean to me. I’ve heard some writers prefer not to read how their readers are reacting to their books, good or bad. But I can’t stay away from them! These reactions and praises make my day. They send my inspiration into a whirlwind and motivate me to keep going with the series. I’ve created an inspiration board in my writing room, where I put touching comments up right in front of me. Then the idea hit me to create a page here just for that purpose. I’ll gather all my favorite public comments and five star reviews from all over to post them right here. And please feel free to add comments below 🙂

I’ll probably be the only one who reads this page but know that I’ll frequent it whenever I need a pick me up—my virtual happy place. Thank you all so much for your kind words and being so thoughtful for taking the time out to let me know how much the Infinite Series has meant to you. I love you all!

I read the first book in the series in an afternoon, as a study break. Well, that break turned into a very long one as I had to order the second book and read it immediately! It really was fascinating, imaginative and well-researched. The characters are engaging and adventures exciting! Then I searched for the third in the series, only to discover it’s not been released yet, so I am definitely On the Hook and waiting impatiently! Don’t wait, see the first two for yourself!

I’m still reading the book but have almost finished. I’ve promised myself early nights and ended up going to bed in the very early hours of the morning because I just cant put this book down! (I had to force myself last night!!)

It is fantastically written. It draws you in from the moment you start reading it. I believe in spiritual things, which is what made me decide to read this, and I have to say I’m learning a lot more through it. Its brilliant! I’m looking forward to getting into book 2! And I have to say – 2013 can’t come quick enough for book three!!

I hope to see another series like this!

Terrific historical fiction

Never have I been one to prefer historical fiction, but this fantastic series has opened my eyes to the possibilities! Not only is it well written but its like a collection of short stories with a crew of wonderfully developed characters that follow it throughout. I never thought I’d enjoy this book as much as I did, but do yourself a favor and invest in this story. It’s well worth it.

I have read approximately 12 books since I read Infinite Sacrifice and Infinite Devotion, and your books are still the ones I think about constantly. I cried at the end of each life, only to find myself smiling again at the start of a new life. I felt like I was being sucked back into the lives of the characters with them. The places and the people felt so vivid and descriptive.I love how you researched the time periods. I’m not a very religious person, but I wouldn’t mind thinking of this being how life ends and begins anew. I also loved how you had the traits of characters pass through in their different lives. I can’t thank you enough for writing these stories, and I am eagerly awaiting Infinite Loss.

I just discovered the awesomeness that is Infinite Sacrifice! I literally started reading it today! I’m not even done with it and I LOVE IT!! I’ve already bought the ridiculously underpriced second book! I’m reading slowly because I already don’t know what I’m going to do until the third comes out! The research you’ve done to have the time periods historically accurate…Amazing! It makes you feel like you’re really there! Ma’am, you freaking rock!!

I am currently reading the second book and must say, I love them! I tried out the first book while I was on my kindle looking for free books with good reviews and once I started reading I was hooked! Within 2 days I purchased the second one and am 3/4 of the way through that one! I am sad it is almost done! Great idea and wonderful stories!! I am thinking of purchasing a hard copy of the books for my library at home as well as my kindle! Thank you for writing these!

Erin T—Amazon Review

Reading this book was like being in a time machine! Through L.E Waters’s detailed descriptions, I can now say I’ve been to Egypt, Sparta, Denmark and England.

Her storylines make you think long after you’ve put the book down. She casts a spell on you from the moment you start reading, getting you to ask yourself some pretty big questions….what is there after we a pass…where will my soul be in its progression when I do…and what are my past lives?

You’ll have to be a fan of history to really appreciate this book. Her details and tidbits make reading interesting while helping you paint the picture of that time. I found myself more than once Googling some of her facts just so I could learn more.

I would only read this book when my mind was awake enough to absorb it. Her plots aren’t for the weak minded. You have to keep up with every turn she takes and brace yourself for her endings. Every time I thought I had parts figured out I was pleasantly surprised to find I was way off! I love books that can challenge me to the end and this one surely did!

I won’t forget her cast of characters. They pull themselves off the paper and into your mind. I can’t wait to see where they will go in the next book!

If you love history, great characters, and powerful endings, then this book is for you.

Diane—Goodreads Review

The premise is unusual: the afterlife is not simply Heaven, but the opportunity to review all of one’s previous lives, with the assistance of one’s own spirit guide. This book reviews Maya’s/Lazrina’s (her name in her just-past life/her spirit’s name) first four lives. From ancient Egypt, to classical Sparta, to early medieval Ireland, to late medieval England, Lazrina alternates genders but maintains key traits (a mole on her left hand, prophetic dreams), accompanied by a number of significant others, also maintaining distinct traits. In the framing story, her progress is reviewed, the relationships among the others in her “soul group” and the issues each needs to face are hinted at. A provocative book: I look forward to the next installment!

Angie—Open Book Society Review

This was an amazing journey that I literally couldn’t put down. I wasn’t sure about reading a book about Angels and heaven. I’m wary of things that are too “preachy” but this book is probably the furthest thing from that. I started reading at 9:00 pm and didn’t put the book down til I was finished at 4:00 am.

Maya has arrived at the pearly gates to discover that she’s not anywhere NEAR where she thought she was. She meets her spirit guide who explains to her that she’s got a couple things she needs to do first. Like understand what her lessons to learn have been and truly understand them.

To see the journey of a soul through time and continents was beautiful. Through a series of 4 short stories we discover that Maya’s soul has been a priest, a slave, a mother and a well-to-do wife. Her soul has learned painful lessons on love and sacrifice from every experience and made her who she is now, but is she done? What more could she possibly need to know before reuniting with the ones she loves in eternal bliss? We saw 4 incarnations of her soul and know that there are at least 5 as she is now Maya, but we learn nothing of her life as Maya.

Waters has spent countless hours researching the eras she writes about. The writing was amazing. I was transported throughout the world and had vivid images of the settings of all the stories. I was moved to tears in more than one story. In the end I didn’t feel preached to at all, but I did have a completely different perspective on what the afterlife might be like. I have to read Infinite Devotion (book #2) immediately!

Kayla—Kayla’s Reads and Reviews

Infinite Sacrifice was a great novel. It was interesting to hear about all of Maya’s past lives. The book made me reflect and wonder, if I had past lives, what would they have been like? I liked watching Maya mature throughout her reincarnations. In her first life, when she was a male priest, she was a jerk. She thought only of herself and her mistress. In her second life, a Spartan wife and mother, she matured a bit. She put one of her son’s needs above hers. She was still a jerk though. Her other son, she was harsh to and didn’t treat well. Her third life, as an Irish-man turned Viking, she sacrificed herself to be with her son in the afterlife. This is where we see the biggest change in Maya’s soul. In her fourth life, as a doctor’s wife, she sacrifices her relationship with her husband and mother to help children she didn’t know. She also helped take care of a lot of people that had the plague. My favorite character throughout Maya’s lives was Gunhilda. I loved her kick butt attitude. No one was going to tell her what to do. Even though she was a woman, she fought better than most men. Gunhilda became a very valuable asset to the Vikings during the war. This book was phenomenal. I loved it. I can’t wait to read the sequel, Infinite Devotion, and find out more about Maya’s past lives. I recommend this book to anyone who likes stories about reincarnation, spirituality, or second chances.

The premise of this book immediately grabbed me, and kept hold of me throughout the entire novel. Imaginative, well-written, and page-turning, Infinite Sacrifice kept me up reading when I really should have been studying for class. I cannot recommend it enough! I’m a fairly finicky reader, but the characters were so engaging and the plot so intricate I could not put it down. The price is super reasonable, so I definitely recommend buying it!

Julie— Reading By the Beach Review

I’m a details person, what can I say? I love the tiny details of a story that make it complete. Infinite Sacrifice is about all those small details, so I was in heaven!

When L.E. Waters contacted me for a review, I was supremely intrigued by the blurb. Reincarnation will always fascinate me, then she succinctly pointed out out that one life involves vikings. Now, they are Dane’s not Norwegian, but vikings are vikings so I was even more interested. With that said, I was mildly hesitant only because I wasn’t sure how all the lives were going to be combined into one soul without confusion (that’s what I get for reading reviews prior to reading a book, I usually read them after I’ve read the story because I don’t like going into a book with preconceived notions). I was wrong to be hesitant, so very wrong!

I was quickly entranced by the writing style as I partook in this unique, fascinating adventure. L.E. Waters captures scenery and dialogue with such ease that it’s easy to picture in your head, everything rolls naturally. No stilting, no rushing, no forcing. There are a lot of details to take in as we visit four of Lazrina’s (soul name) lives, but I found those details to be easy to keep track of (see, preconceived notion that it would be confusing). It wasn’t confusing in the least, but then again, I pride myself on having an eye for those kind of details. Any small details, really. Also, L.E. Waters graciously supplies a chart at the end of each life to help the reader keep track of who was who within those four lives. It also helps that we visit each life one after the other without unnecessary spacing. It helps keep the people, or rather their souls, fresh in the readers mind. It also helps that each soul has at least one thing that helps identify them with each new life. You’ll see once you read the book.

The concept was well-crafted, tightly woven together so there weren’t any gaping holes. Everything fit together perfectly, like matching puzzle pieces. I cannot even imagine how much time went into Infinite Sacrifice, between the researched history and piecing together the lives of not only one person, but the supporting characters as well. It’s really four mini stories rolled into a bigger story where everything ties together to make a compelling tale about the lessons a soul learns throughout their existence. I loved piecing together the tiny pieces to figure out who was positive, negative or neutral, but all influencing Lazrina’s soul.

One of the best parts is that L.E. Waters delivers history in a factual sense. She didn’t romanticize it, which I greatly appreciated. She wrote about the ways of each life, never masking the ugly with pretty words to disguise the harsh facts. If you betrayed a law, you were killed. If you were a slave, you were owned, with few (if any) sympathizing with you. If you were a female, you had no power, often judged by who you married, owned by the man you married. The harsh realities of history were in your face, and I liked that!

If you enjoy history, read Infinite Sacrifice. If you enjoy reincarnation, read Infinite Sacrifice. If you want a unique, one-of-a-kind story, read Infinite Sacrifice. Or how about you just read Infinite Sacrifice? It’s an absolutely amazing story! And, lucky for us, Infinite Devotion (the second book) is already out!

I read about a book a day and am constantly looking for new books via kindle. This was in the free list so I gave it a try. I can’t tell you how many of the free ones I just end up rejecting (more than I keep), but I read this one. I was so disappointed that it ended. I hoped there was a second book and I just bought it. I’m sure it will be great but since there is not a third yet I know I’ll be very sorry for it to end. I read a lot of books on a variety of subjects but I enjoy myth, religion and fantasy the most. This book nicely combined all three genres. It also made me ponder…. Get it!

This book is initiating a series which follows a soul through all its past lives. The lives are short but memorable, only going over the most important events of that life. I absolutely adored this book, given that I actually believe I have had some past lives as well. I think this book should be read by anyone curious about the afterlife, overall 9/10 because I wanted more.

Hollister Ann Grant—Smashwords Review

The cover of this book fascinates me. It shows the infinity symbol and has to be one of the most beautiful book covers I’ve ever seen. I began reading Infinite Sacrifice last night and was so caught up in the stories that I couldn’t put it down. This is historical fantasy, and the author has really done her homework. I felt I was actually standing on the dusty roads of past civilizations, staring into the faces of real people. My favorite story is the entangled one with the twin brothers, Theodon and Arcen, and their sister Kali, but I don’t want to give away any spoilers (except to say I didn’t see the plot twists coming at all). Well done. A good book to curl up with on a cold winter day.

I really enjoyed this book. Each life interested me more and more, and I love that the author took time to research the time periods to incorporate it into each life. Sometimes I would have to go back to the end of the life before to figure out who was who from the previous life, but the author makes sure to include a chart at the end of each section to help guide you through each soul; I just liked figuring it out each time I got a detail. Please don’t get hung up on the idea of this being religious or spiritual; Waters has some great ideas, but she doesn’t make those who are not overly religious or spiritual uncomfortable. Each story is enriching in itself. I was lucky enough to get this as a free ebook, but I’d recommend paying for it even if it isn’t free anymore. I just bought the second book: Infinite Devotion, and I can’t wait to dive into it.

A fascinating book! It makes reincarnation seem plausible. This is the first in a series and I ordered the next one within an hour of reading this. The writing style is easy and free flowing. It is written in the first person and I felt I was right there throughout the book.

Infinite Sacrifice takes you on a journey through amazing historical times. It provides an incredible insights not only into historical events, but also the human element of spiritual development. I highly recommend this book.

L. Franklin—Amazon Review

This book was recommended to me and I am so glad I had to opportunity to read it! Waters does a beautiful job creating a flow from one life to another, developing characters, relationships and interesting plot twists. The first chapter, where we are introduced to the idea of reviewing past lives was intriguing and piqued my curiosity, causing me to speed read on into Ancient Egypt. The attention to historical detail and the watching the start of these relationship begin to unfold kept me captivated and I read much later into the night than I ever intended! From there I was hooked.

The characters who follow Maya throughout her lives develop as she moves from one life to the next and their connections communicated the multifaceted relationships that are built over time. I particularly loved the Sparta life and then the last life of this book, the one about the Plague. The idea of having a cast of people who are close to you who travel with you throughout your many lives and how they take on different roles at different times was original and intriguing. I thought that Waters really effectively developed these relationships and shows the many ways relationships with one person can look. And she accomplishes this while still moving the plot forward, adding many twists and turns along the way. There are passages throughout the book that are so beautifully (or disgustingly!) descriptive that I went back and re-read them a few times to really revel in the time and place.

Overall, this book was a serious page turner. Not only did I tear through it the first time, but I find myself wanting to go back and re-read it because I am sure there are things I missed the first time through. I loved the charts at the end of each chapter because they allowed me to easily flip back and forth to reference the character map so that I didn’t waste time trying to recall something from a former life. Infinite Sacrifice did what I imagine it set out to do; it told beautiful, interesting stories with believable characters, but beyond that, it really made me think. Not just about how I feel about reincarnation, but about the people in my own life and the cast of characters I would carry with me if I went on my own journey. Well done, L.E. Waters, well done!

Arlene Harman—Amazon Review
This is one of the most fascinating, addicting books I’ve ever read! The history is graphic and rich. If you don’t experience hunger, pain, grief, fear, excitement, relief and a lot of “WHEW!” moments….then you’re probably distracted. The plot, storytelling, and concept are spot on. I have read both books in the Infinite series and can’t wait for the next one. (And the one after that…and the one after that…). I highly recommend it, especially for those willing to take a chance on experiencing an “unconventional” view at life…and death.

Sara Flower—Goodreads Review

L.E. Waters has done it again with a second page-turning tale. The stakes are higher for Maya and I found myself gripping my ereader when she goes through her life as the Irish Robin Hood. I love how Waters shows the strong bonds of the characters throughout the book, making the dramatic parts all the more heart-breaking. I particularly loved the chemistry between Lucrezia Borgia and her second husband.

Infinite Devotion is a must-read for anyone who enjoys historical fiction, or a compelling story filled with adventure.

In the intrum of waiting for book 3, I’ve read 8 books after Infinite Sacrifice and Infinite Devotion and I still can’t get them out of my head. Waiting for Infinite Loss to come out, feels like a kid waiting for Christmas. I recommend Infinite Sacrifice and Infinite Devotion to everyone. It’s one of those series that you just don’t want to put down. I’ve cried and smiled through these books. Each story is so intriguing. This would make a wonderful television series. Reading this transports you to so many worlds of the past with details along the way to show who each soul/character is in each life. I’m not that religious of a person, L.E. Waters doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable about that. As she says this is her idea of what it would be like, and it’s told through a beautiful collaboration of stories. Her 1st person narration is wonderful, I was sucked into each story line. The first one Infinite Sacrifice is still free and I reccommend it fully, as I do for this second installment.

I liked this second book a lot, too, although it was more challenging reading, as the lives posed increasing challenges. Compelling, intriguing characters in complex interrelationships make for compelling life stories. Keep it up, L.E.!

I couldn’t wait for this second installment of this Infinite series to arrive at my door and it certainly did not disappoint! This novel jumped right in where Infinite Sacrifice left off and kept me turning page after page. If I were not writing my Thesis, it would have been finished a month ago, but as it was, I was late meeting someone today because I just couldn’t put it down until I finished it!Maya’s journey becomes even more compelling and complicated as characters are introduced in new, compelling ways. The diversity of her lives and roles in each one are skillful depicted. I am an avid fiction reader and am especially drawn to character driven stories. Authors usually have an entire novel to develop believable characters and relationships, but because of the structure of this series, Waters is forced to re-examine these characters and roles with each new life. She does this, skillfully convincing us as readers that these people have common traits that carry through each incarnation, while still appearing in different, complex relationships in each situation, with ease. This book reached me as reader in a more profound way than her first book, as if she has truly found her stride and voice as an author. The second life in this collection, the Spanish Armada, was definitely my favorite. The relationship between the young boys and the world she creates felt so real to me, and showed a nice contrast to the very feminine world she portrayed to start, and the edge of your seat adventure that closes out this book.My small criticism of the first novel, that the closing chapter with Zachariah felt too leading and didn’t leave me room to draw my own conclusions, felt like it was addressed in Infinite Devotion. There was just enough dialog and the right lines were drawn, allowing me to have my own ideas and feelings about the progress Maya had made, while still reminding me that this is her journey, not mine 🙂 Overall, I would and do recommend this series to anyone who enjoys historical fiction, reincarnation, or really, just a well-told story!

Once again I am not disappointed. I could not put this book down until I literally fell asleep while reading…I honestly can say that this is one of the best books I’ve read in a long time. Infinite Devotion takes the fantastic premise and writing of the first book and not only meets it, but exceeds it. I loved Infinite Sacrifice, but I feel an even deeper character connection after this second book. The writing is delightful, the plot is even more engaging than it was, and with every ‘life’ of Maya’s, I feel more and more like these characters are living, breathing people. Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Like I said before, Waters’s ability to transport you to different times and places is what makes this book so amazing. Her imagination and story telling never lets you down. I love the twists in this book. My favorite life is a toss up between the spanish armada and O’Hanlon. I cried my eyes out at the end of the Armada…wont spoil it for anyone but get your tissues ready! O’Hanlon was a wild adventure that made me want to go to Ireland and join a theiving gang! What lives will she come up with next! Can’t wait to find out! Keep ’em coming please!

Overall a very good book! There were a few parts here and there that I had to plod through. Some of the Spain life for instance. But the plot always picks up, and it’s exciting to see how the life will end because you know the character will eventually die. I loved the Pope life and the Irish Robin Hood life. One very emotionally charged. I wanted to cry. The other very funny!I learned some things I didn’t know about history as well, which is always fun. I think the author very accurately portrays historical background information without the reader hardly realizing it. You do not have to be a history whiz to enjoy this book. The lessons Maya learns in this book are amazing. I can’t wait to see what happens in the third book and finally see Maya’s last life! Definitely recommend.

I enjoyed this book so much. The 1st book started a bit silly imo, however once you get to (it doesn’t take long, promise) reliving her lives her many lives with her and the related characters, you’ll be quickly caught up in this novel! Good, clean writing & editing. No filth to read, which is something I personally do not like to read about. That was a plus for me as that’s uncommon these days. Each life flows into the next life for all the many characters… it is not JUST about one lady although only one lady, of course, in all of her many personas mind you, is the main character. The personas, the varying eras.. all the vast differences in each are so exciting to live out. Yet even in such vastness, the plot flows like a beatuous baby butterfly flies from one amazing flower to the next equally amazing flower. I, THIS butterfly, want lots more! I’m aching for the next book. Just get through the silliness of those first pages, a couple little chapters, and you won’t regret it!!!Would be 5 stars if the beginning wasn’t so silly.
NOTE: When I referenced above as the book beginning in a “silly” manner, I’m referring to Book 1. Book 2 goes right on into the awesomely awesomeness of the many lives.Have a great trip; you’re going to visit many wonderful places and cultures!

Wow, wow, wow. This novel is now one of my all-time favorite books. I don’t know where to begin. The premise of this story is one of a kind. A story about a woman who must reincarnate until she learn’s life’s most important lessons is genius. And L.E. Waters makes the story very believable. This first book begins in ancient Egypt and continues until the Black Plague in London. It is very clear that she has done her research yet she weaves the background info seamlessly into the story. There are no info dumps or endless facts aout a certain time period. It’s like you’re really there, and you end up learning a lot about history without meaning to. I think a lot of people, especially history buffs, will like the story just because of how you’re learning and enjoying the story at the same time.L.E. Waters also creates awesome characters you care for. You know they’re going to die, but it still shocks you. I had to hold back tears several times throughout the book. These characters will be etched into my mind for a long time. This is the kind of series you’ll want to read over and over again. And wish there was a movie, too.I should also mention that the book also has some adult themes in there but nothing graphic.Overall, this is a very well-written book. The author has a true gift for words. She is a master storyteller. Be prepared to lose sleep when reading this book because you won’t be able to put it down. Gotta go read the second book, Infinite Devotion, now!

David M. Brown~Amazon UK Review

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started reading L.E. Waters’ Infinite Sacrifice, the first in the Infinite series. The synopsis seemed intriguing enough with the promise of a trip through some of my favourite parts of history but how vivid would these moments be?

The novel begins with the spirit Maya who believes she has reached heaven only for a spirit guide to inform her the journey is far from over. In order to continue her journey, Maya must relive previous existences she has lived throughout history and find the valuable lessons she has learned from each manifestation. The novel then proceeds to tell four distinct stories taking us to Ancient Egypt, Sparta, Ireland and Denmark at the time of the Vikings, as well as plague-ridden Europe in the 14th century.

After an intriguing opening the novel quickly gets going with the first setting in Ancient Egypt. The idea is that Maya has been a different person in each period of history and that the souls of her contemporaries with distinct features and characteristics also reappear in different times as different characters. At the end of each part there is a table listing the principal characters in each age and their equivalents in the next period of history. Maya is a High Priest in Ancient Egypt that is devoted to religion but not shy when it comes to corruption; she is a devoted mother in militaristic Sparta with a secret to hide; she is then an Irish boy accidentally abducted by Vikings during a raid; in the final life she is a Doctor’s wife who abandons her husband to care for two children in plague-infested London.

Due to the different historical settings and characters the novel does feel like a selection of short stories rather than a continuous narrative. I didn’t feel this hindered the book but other readers may disagree. Having met Maya in the prologue who is our main character, we don’t encounter her again until the epilogue and learn little about her. Although we live through her various incarnations they are very different characters. The settings themselves are fantastic and give you a real feel of the period of history. These are some of favourite areas of history and although I would normally favour the Vikings, I felt the story set in Sparta was the strongest one on offer here. It had me gripped the most of the four.

Infinite Sacrifice was a pleasant surprise. I wasn’t sure how it would turn out or work but I felt that L.E. Waters handled the narrative well and there is clearly a lot of research been done to get the historical periods right. The lack of knowledge about Maya is both a downside and a plus point. On the downside the prologue and epilogue feel weak compared to the rest of the book but at the same time they give just enough information away to make me intrigued and eager to read the next instalment.

Infinite Sacrifice is a terrific journey through four lives and memorable visits to Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece and two periods of Medieval Europe. I’m a great lover of history and will be more than happy to try the next instalment in this series Infinite Devotion which promises visits to Renaissance Italy and even sailing with the Spanish Armada. I can’t wait!

Wow! What a wonderful book! I’m a massive fan of historical fiction and the fantasy genre and usually devour books very quickly. However, everything ive read lately has been boring or non believable or predictable and badly written. Not here! The author keeps your interest every single page, so you don’t find yourself drifting off like in some books. The stories are touching and beautifully written. I loved the characters and emphasised with all of them. I really felt I ‘was there in the time too. Absolutely brilliant series so far I’d give 10 stars if I could

This is a really lovely book and a very easy read. Like a previous poster, i too am fascinated by reincarnation and soul grouping so this combined with the historical fiction made it irresistible. The individual lives are framed by the central character’s journey to the afterlife and her conversations with Zakariah were very interesting and really got me thinking. The attention to detail is superb and the author has obviously done her historical homework. I loved the Viking one most of all, because believe it or not, it mentions the town where i was born! Nice touch!
Just one small flaw, I thought the quality of the book itself wasn’t great, the shiny cover and flimsy paper just made it feel a bit cheap. That’s just a bug-bear of mine though!
Highly recommend!

I love the historical element of this novel and have found it compusive read. I can’t wait to see what the next life will hold.

I really couldn’t put this book down. Proceeding seamlessly from book one, the relationships grow more complex—and more three-dimensional. What I didn’t expect was the humor, the joy, and the playful spirit. Can’t wait for the next one!

I loved this book! I was lucky enough to win it in a Goodreads contest, but gladly would have bought it! I loved the overall story line of this book. If you like history and/or are at all interested in past lives, I would highly recommend this book!

Although this book is fictional, it gives a believer like me a lifetime of thoughts. My prospective of how I treat people and myself. Only God knows my thoughts of this life I live.

Super story line, CAN’T WAIT TO READ BOOK 2. Enjoyed the characters and what happened to each, and their connection to the main character.

This book was a captivating read. Not only were the different lives interesting, but the back story behind them as well. I also liked the chart to keep track of the characters during the different lives. I will look for more books by this author.

I really enjoyed this book! It is our book club pick and I am eager to discuss it with everyone. The whole concept of past lives is so interesting in itself, and each life story was like a mini historical novel. The last one even moved me to tears. Definitely recommend. And I loved that it was free on the Kindle! I am enjoying Book 2 now.

I choose this rating because I had a hard time putting this book down. The story moves fast & is full of suspense. You don’t know what’s going to happen next but you want to. I liked that it is well-written. A woman finds she’s in heaven. She meets her spirital guide who tells her she must relive her reincarnations before she can see her family that she’s eager to see. Each life is very diferent. Sometimes she’s a female & sometimes she’s a male. A really interesting story that was fun to read.

I am an avid, hard to please reader. This book kept me glued to the pages from start to finish. It is an original and creative view on the meaning of life and the journey of the soul. The authors way of writing helps to quickly acquire and maintain readers interest throughout the ever changing life stories. The charts help keep track of each characters transition throughout each life. Overall it was an excellent and imaginative read that would make for a great TV series.

I could hardly put this down. Can’t wait to read the second book. Such an interesting idea for a novel. Well written and keeps your interest. It makes you wonder if something like this could be true. If so it explains a lot.

I got this as a free book and literally could not put it down. It is one of the best books I have ever read. It is well written. The premise is unique. After I completed reading this book of the series I immediately bought the second in the series and read it in a couple of days. I cannot wait for the third of the series. I was so disappointed that it was not available as of yet.

This book was beautifully written and structured. It gave me a real insight into the times, and also into Mormon beliefs which I knew nothing about. The characters were appealing and real, and I thank the author for transporting me into this fascinating world as I read her book.

I received the link for this book through a daily e-reader email that I subscribe to, and I am so glad that I clicked the link. Could not set my Kindle down once I started. When I finished I was extremely disappointed at the “to be continued” feeling I got…..because I most certainly wanted more. I immediately checked the kindle store for book two and giggled to myself when I saw the title there, and purchased it without even checking the price.I am an avid reader and have been my entire life. I enjoy any genre and am always open to anything new. I knew right away that I would love this one. It follows my beliefs and even though it is fiction I found myself reading it almost as if it was a non-fiction case study.Love Love Love

Thank you for this read

I enjoy historical fiction so in that this book was able to transport the reader to several time petiods it felt like reading several connected short stories. I enjoyed both the soul premise as well as each story. The overall theme leaves the reader pondering while the stories are engrossing.

When does Maya finally pass? I realize that will end the story, but I want Maya to be able to pass over.

I loved the first book in this series and the second did not disappoint! It is told from the point of view of the main character who is in a sense reliving all of her past lives. I love how the author weaved history into personal thoughts and feelings. I am excited for the next book in the series and would definitely recommend this series if you are at all interested in past lives!

Having recently completed books one and two in this series, I wanted to add my support for a genre that I hope takes hold and spreads like wildfire. Reading is my first love and my soul has been yearning for books such as this that have both purpose and meaning while also providing deeply satisfying entertainment. As an independent author, Ms. Waters rises to the top with her richly researched and riveting historical fiction, but it’s the bridge she uses between lives that gives it such depth of meaning and purpose. As each incarnation moves like a wave from form to formless, we are looped ever upward in a spiral action that moves the old form into a new energy. I love where this is headed and look forward to continuing the journey in book three.

I read the first book in the Infinite Series, and so thoroughly enjoyed it that I had to grab the second one immediately. And I enjoyed it just as much. It’s fascinating to watch the complexity of the lives increase with each rebirth, and the inclusion of charts after each life is a real bonus for keeping everybody straight. I’m most anxious to read the next in the series and hope it comes along soon!

Lauren Novitsky~Amazon Review
Just like this first, this book is a page turner. I read both in 2 days. I feel lucky to have come across a series as creative as this. I felt connected to the characters and was able to immerse myself in the story using the excellent writing to guide my imagination. I was disappointed when it ended, can’t wait for #3! The only downside is you cannot read this one without reading the first book in the series because there is no introductory transition, and it will make no sense. Though that didn’t matter much to me, it would definitely confuse/frustrate someone who chose to start the series from this book.

Slumlord1970~Amazon Review
I couldn’t wait for the second book and now I’m sad to know the third isn’t out yet. Incredible writing and an absolutely impossible book to put down. Perhaps my new favorite author…

I got the first book of the series free and could not put it down. I immediately got the second book of the series and read it through in a couple of days. I looked for the third one but it isn’t out yet. This is one of the best books I have ever read and I am hooked on it.It is about a woman that dies and on her way to the here-after has to live her past lives over. You relive each of the lives that she has lived. It is well written and holds your interest. I cannot wait for the next book in the series.

AMAZING…simply amazing! Looking foe a GREAT read? You can’t go wrong with the Infinite Series. I couldn’t get enough. I was held spell-bound, heart racing, breath holding, left wanting more. After reading the first book, Infinite Sacrifice, I immediately went back and bought the second book! Waiting impatiently for the third book now.
The author, L.E. Waters brings you right in with the characters. I could envision everything clearly as I stood at the side lines watching as the events unfolded before my eyes!
I will be watching this author close. Good things will be coming in her career! So excited to see more of her work!

So, as I read the second book in the Infinite Series,I found myself AMAZED! I enjoyed this second book just as much as the first and so anxious for the third. My favorite life was during The Seventh Life Irish Robin Hood!
L.E.Water’s has a way of drawing you in as you watch the main character evolve right before your eyes. You fight for him/her to reach where they need to be so he/she may finally be at the end of each their lives, so they may finally be able to see and be with family and friends in Heaven. About the time he/she thinks his/her life trials are finally over, here yet is another life to have to review.
My favorite line from this second book is, “The earth has no sorrows that Heaven cannot heal.” Beautiful line!
Thank you L.E. Waters for your wonderful imagination and great writing!

This is a fascinating read. The story opens with a Prologue that just grabbed me and pulled me into a wonderful reading experience. I wasn’t sure I would enjoy reading a book on death and the afterlife.

The story is about Maya who after her death travels to what she thinks is heaven. She meets her spiritual guide and a fascinating journey begins.
You, the reader quickly discover that this author spent an enormous time in research as she adds so much detail and thought into the lives of Maya. The priest, the slave, the mother and the wife of a wealthy man. The only life we didn’t discover is the one she just lived through.

This was such an wonderful read and I was left with a whole new perspective on what the afterlife might be like.

I am looking forward to reading more from this talented author.

Absolutely amazing book and author! The detail in these stories is so incredible, you feel like you are there, in the characters body, or should I say soul. Cannot wait for the third book in the series to come out!

  1. I finished reading Infinite Sacrifice during the wee hours of this morning – there was no way I was going to fall asleep without finishing it! I immediatey bought the second, Infinite Devotion, and am eagerly anticipating the third! I think the premise is so incredibly interesting! It reminded me of “Threads: The Reincarnation of Anne Boleyn” by Nell Gavin. Your views on reincarnation are similar, but there are enough differences to make each book stand out on their own. Bravo!!!

    • I’m so glad you liked it, Jennifer! I have yet to read Threads. I saw it listed under reincarnation fantasy along with Infinite Sacrifice and thought it looked amazing. I won’t read it until my series is finished since I don’t want it to affect my series, but I can’t wait to see the similarities and differences between our reincarnation novels. Thanks so much for letting me know that you enjoyed my novel and I hope you enjoy Infinite Devotion as well 🙂

  2. from what started out as a free book that I was just going to read for something to do, this has turned into a reading obsession, book three here I come (so sorry to my partner in advance for not talking again tonight 😉 )

    • I’m so happy that the Infinite Series has become an addiction! I know writing them is definitely an obsession of mine and I think my husband was afraid he might have a Shining moment after all of the hours I hid away to only see the same words over and over again on my laptop. He’s much more understanding now that he’s actually read the the books himself. Hopefully, it will be a quick read and your partner won’t be ignored for too long! Thanks so much for letting me know that you’re enjoying them!

  3. I stumbled upon this series two days ago and i havent stopped reading till now – just about to start the 3rd book.. These books excite me to no end, they are amazing..
If i tell you how much these books have touched me you would all think im insane LOL i have terrible OCPD and i HAVE to know every detail – i cant help myself, so as i was reading i doodled notes on the characters to keep track of everything – which turned into this big chart of names and details and the progression of them etc (told ya im nuts LOL-i could send a picture) that is how much i have loved reading this series, it has taken over my whole life for two days – soon to be three, my poor husband has had to take care of the kids (lunches, dinners, bedtimes – the LOT) because everytime one of my children spoke to me i was so zoned into the book that by the time i looked up the kids were already asking daddy LOL i know – borderline childabuse – im terrible..
I read ALOT every single day – its my passion (im disabled so dont get out much lol) and my kindle is never far from me -even in bed – and i like reading most genres lately it has been paranormal/crime but very rarely do books touch me to the point were i neglect my children (lucky my husband is here lol) but because of the AMAZING talent of new authors like L.E Waters two such series’ have done just that this year already… the other was the insight series by jamie magee both have opened my mind to depths i would never have ventured to before – and LOVE it, i love over thinking (my husband hates it) its part of the OCD thing and all i have done for two nights is THINK about the impossible being possible..
This is one of these series’/stories that make you HOPE the author is telling this story because it IS real without them knowing it.. And this story – this soul – tells it so beautifully that you drink in every detail..
I love reading about life – how people live, what is life like through there eyes – so this series is perfect for me as i get to see so many amazing lives play out and how they all connect and i look for the hidden messages and clues that will bring me closer to actually being there, its just perfect… I cried and whimpered so many times my husband threatened to take my kindle off me (i wouldve killed him dont worry LOL) the details are fascinating and gripping – for instance the ‘feelings’ certain ‘lives’ got when he/she returned to a place that a past life had been – i was bawling and whispering ‘please remember’.. man it was emotional LOL
If this book reflects what really happens when we die then i for one will be so excited to be dead – to get to see and experience it all in real time – all those amazing histories to be explored – i will be the crazy spirit at the front of the cue jumping up and down saying ‘tell me everything – and dont leave ANYTHING out’ LOL

thank you for sharing these books with us – they really are spectacular…
and sorry for waffling on etc i hope you can understand my scottish humour and i that i havent left too many spelling mistakes LOL
    thank you x

    • First of all, I can’t TELL you enough what a comment like this means to me. If you could see me while reading it you’d be horrified to watch me go back and forth from laughing to crying at every other sentence! What a mess I am! I don’t even know how to start to let you know how deeply each comment has touched me.

I’m so happy that you’ve found something special in my books. I remember when my mother finished reading the first one she said, “Do you think anyone will track these people? Do you think anyone will notice these things?” Of course that worried me but I knew I would enjoy it so there might be others like me as well. It’s fantastic to know that you have had fun tracking the details and others have told me that they enjoyed it too. I’m one of those annoying people who watches everything looking for deeper symbolism and foreshadowing and try my hardest to guess the plot twist before it happens. It’s so good to hear that there are others out there like me! I would give anything to sit with you and look over your notes. I did put many layers into this book where I left it open for people to read enjoy it at a shallow layer or very deeply. It makes my heart dance to hear that you’ve looked for those things since sometimes I wonder if anyone has noticed them. I’ve toyed with the idea of putting up a list of discussion questions to guide readers to them but then I think it’s more important for people to find them on their own, and uncover what’s meaningful for them.

I laugh when you talk about being so deep into the book that you can barely hear the nagging of your kids since that is sometimes how I write…haha! When inspiration hits, I’ll sometimes be typing away as Spongebob is blaring away. I truly thank your husband for keeping your children alive so that you could enjoy my series 🙂

I will immediately look up Jamie Magee since you have sold me on the series. I wish I could say the Infinite Series was a true story, but after writing it I do feel it is real in some way. These characters exist for me in some parallel universe. Their emotions feel real. I think that is the only way anyone should write a fiction piece. Some part of you has to feel like the world does exist. I’m so thrilled that so many people are feeling like they are in the story watching everything unfold. That may be the greatest compliment to a writer.

I really do hope a reincarnation like this would be possible only because I can’t imagine only have one journey, only one chance in this world. It would be wonderful to find out we’ve had many adventures and what an experience it would be to watch it all unfold before your very eyes! It’s such a relief to hear there are others like you that have embraced the possibilities of such an afterlife and have enjoyed my portrayal of what it might be like.

Ah, another beautiful letter to paste up on my inspiration board. I might have to flag this one for extra low days. Thank you so, so much for taking the time and letting me know, Miss Morgan. It means so much to me.

  4. I just wanted to say that I LOVE your series! I have read up to Infinite Loss (haven’t quite finished yet) and you have made me laugh, cry, talk out loud to the book lol, and I can’t wait to get home to read more. I was read a particular part in this book I don’t want to say which, and balling my eyes out when I thought “I have to tell her how much these books have touched me”. It was an overwhelming urge and I ma so glad I found your page because I could not find an “email me” link on your site. Anyway, THANK YOU for what you do. You are truly an amazing and gifted author

    • Lisa, I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed them! I’ve been working on book 4 so much lately (it feels great to be writing again!) There have been way too many snow days here-and that means way too many days with all my kids home 🙂

  5. Miss Waters,

I got the first book on my Kobo and immediately upon completion sought out ‘Devotion’ and ‘Loss.’ I slowed down my reading during the third book as I didn’t want it to end (I finished it about 20minutes ago!) and actually shouted out loud for joy when I read that there was a fourth!

As a believer in reincarnation, I found the series incredibly beautiful, I love the spiritual concept behind it , and I have already recommended it to many of my friends and family.

As a member of the British Royal Navy, I particularly enjoyed the nautical themed adventures of Luis with the Spanish Armada but my absolute favorite was the Native American life with some incredibly heart touching lines that had me, a grown man, fighting back tears! Apawi was an absolute stroke of genius!

I do not consider myself a huge reader but I thank you most sincerely for making my latest reading experience one of my all time favorites and one that will stay with me. I eagerly await Infinite Faith and can only pray there could be more…

    Peace and Blessings,

    PJ

    • Phew! I’m so relieved that my nautical depictions have been approved by a member of the British Royal Navy! Even though I grew up sailing on my father’s sailboats, 16th century nautical terms and tactics was most certainly an eduction. I’m so glad you enjoyed all the books and it means the world to me that you connected with it so deeply. I would say that I enjoyed writing the Native American life the most. After researching, it just flowed so smoothly. It is definitely one of my favorite time periods. Is it strange that making a grown man cry can make me so happy? Getting a reader to feel the emotions of my characters is the most important thing to me and letters like this are my greatest reward. I’m working hard to get Infinite Faith out, hopefully I will make good progress once the kids are back in school! And, as for your prayers of more books in the series…let’s see what’s in the stars 🙂

      Peace and blessings in kind,
      Lauren Waters

  6. Dear Amazingly Awesome Author of My New Favorite Series,
Hi!!! My name is Azalea Richard, I’m seventeen years old and I live on the tiny dot of an island known as Palau. I love your book, not to sound all gay but it’s a really great book! I mean I always loved stuff like that, past lives and why we do the things we do might in some weird separate dimension, be because we;re reprimanding things done wrong in the past. I’m not saying I believe in past lives, but who knows? Maybe its a legit thing, or maybe not. I’m still trying to figure out what I believe. But this book is amazing and it brightened by day. So Thanks…

    • Hi Azalea (I LOVE that name!)

You definitely made my day 🙂 Thank you so much for all the kind words. I’m so happy you found my book and that you enjoyed it. I looked up Palau and what a beautiful island you live on. A true paradise. I know that it takes time to find me and to think of something to say, but I appreciate it so much when someone reaches out to connect with me like this. It is so important to me. Thank you!

      ~Lauren

  7. I belong to an Outlander group. When I requested a good book to read, since I have nothing new to read, your Infinate series was highly recommended. So I jumped in, and am so enjoying them. I have completed the first two, and just starting Infinate Loss. They really grab you, as they are so well written. Thank you for that. I have really struggled to find good books, that complete there story. You read one, come to the end abuptly, asking yourself, what the heck just happened. You just don’t feel the story finished and it’s very disappointing. I look forward to #4. Thank you again for great writings.

    Berta

    • Wow, Berta. This has completely made my day! I’ve been avoiding reading Outlander because it looks like something I would get deeply absorbed in and children won’t get feed, groceries won’t get bought, and I would get absolutely no writing done. So the first of the Outlander series sits quietly on my kindle waiting for Infinite Faith to be completed, but to be referred to by others that love the series is a huge compliment. I don’t do any promotions, so to hear my little series is getting around has made my month! And yet you go on to say such perfect things, things that mean so much to me. I’m going to reread this at least ten more times (maybe twelve :)) before I go to bed with a smile on my face. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

      ~Lauren

  8. Thank you. Simply thank you for such a beautiful story. I was hooked from the first book and have just finished the fourth and eagerly await the unfortunate final book!
    Thank you and good luck.
    PJ

    • Thank you so much for letting me know, PJ. I’m so glad that you’ve enjoyed all the books and that you’re looking forward to the last book. Best of luck to you as well!
      Lauren

  9. I have eaten your books up like candy. The only series that has rendered me equally unproductive and irresponsible is Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander series (yes, 800+ pages in about 2.5 days, reading, as someone else has alluded to, every spare moment I’m not actually sleeping, cooking, or working.) SO book 5 – great news that there’s another one! On the other hand…..any chance it will be out by Nov 4, 2016? (Only slightly tongue in cheek on that question….)

    • Judi, you definitely made my day! To be put on the same level of the Outlander Series is such an honor. I dream of the day when I’ll be able to “spend every spare moment” writing Book 5 (Infinite Salvation), but I just had my fourth child two months ago and things are so busy around here right now. I am happy to say that I’m starting production on the Infinite Loss audio. Hopefully I’ll get some time soon to write again. Thank you so much for all the kind words and please join my mailing list (if you haven’t already) so that you’ll be notified of Book 5’s release.

      • I’d like to send you some details on exactly why I loved your book so much. Some of that is because of your writing and the books’ content, and a fair amount is my own experiences with regression, my previous lives, and a couple other things. I’m reluctant to put what’s bound to be a rather long and fairly personal response here – is this the place or is there somewhere else I should direct it? I think you have my email behind the scenes. And yes, of course I subscribed!

  10. I’ve just finished reading the first four books in the Infinite Series and it took my less than two weeks. Honestly, I didn’t want to stop reading, I just had to make myself pause between lives to live my own life! Infinite Loss was the first book to move me to tears in a long time and, as someone who is an 18th Century historian, you captured the details in the John Andre life perfectly! I can’t wait to read the final book!

    • An 18th Century historian! What an amazing compliment. I’m thrilled that you enjoyed all the books and it means so much to me that you’ve reached out to let me know. The final book will take some time since I had my fourth child a few months ago and don’t have much free time right now (or sleep :(). But Infinite Salvation is always being planned in my head!

      All the best!

      ~Lauren

  11. In short, I do NOT generally like series because I feel like they run out of juice pretty quickly. However, your brilliant idea for this one pours a constant supply of it with each story, all of them building upon themselves. They’re thought-provoking and insightful, as well as tasty and intoxicating! I read all 4 in a week… Usually it takes me about a week to read just ONE book, if that tells you anything!

I have scoured the internet trying to find a release date for Infinite Salvation to no avail. I’m anxiously awaiting my email notification now! I’ve also “endlessly” recommended this series to an “infinite” amount of people. You deserve it, L.E. Waters! A genius work like this belongs on everyone’s shelf!

I hope that my writings will be this successful one day and am constantly taking notes on how to get there from you! Keep it up!

    -Nicole

PS: As I began filling my info below, I noticed the website link. PLEASE feel free to go to my blog and see my writing style. To be praised by a well-known author would make my whole year!

  12. Dear Lauren,
Seldom I read such an intriquing series, as mostly I read fantasy or scifi. Your books confirm my own observations I had in a regression-series as well as in some dreams as a child (now 67 yrs. old german doctor). As your link on the ebook for getting notifications abour book 5 does not work, I thus beg you to include me in your list for information. Also your books support the teachings of my spiritual teachers. Hopefully to read more such like fascinating stories from you, which crawl under my skin and make me even more concious of the reality and delusion we all are living in, I am still living in.
A big hugging to you and greetings to your dear ones who can be proud to live with such a person.
    Dietrich

  13. Huge fan of the series here. Before this series, I was never interested in the genre. I found the first book by happenstance and was totally engrossed immediately. I’m wondering, is L.E still around? I see no activity since 2016 and just wondered: where is she? I’d love to tell her how fantastic this series is!
